Shigeru’s List: A Letter From the Editor.

When I started this website over two years ago now, my primary inspiration was Nintendorks.com so I guess it makes sense that the updates haven’t been um…shall we say, frequent recently. But if any of you follow my Tumblr you know that I’ve been online and writing stuff so where are the damn Slist posts? Well, I can answer that for you kids real quick:

I dunno.

The truth is that things quiet down around this time of year as E3 approaches and I really have no interest in writing about rumors or speculation. I’ve actually spent most of my online time avoiding gaming sites because I want to keep my mind as fresh as possible before going into Nintendo’s presentation where I expect it will be blown back to the left. We have a lot to look forward to in just a few short weeks when Nintendo will unleash a flood of details regarding their new home console (that launches this holiday season) and new software for the 3DS. A system that is quickly becoming my favorite thing that I own next to my vintage Empire Strikes Back bedsheets.

So hang in there. I’ve been playing the holy hell out of Mega Man 8 for the first time this past week and will probably have a few things to say about it once Dr. Wily stops crushing my cannoli in the bullshit last section of his castle.
